Earlier this year we shared you a track from the supremely talented artist Luke Carlino. That chilling, spine tingling track was Making Maps and featured guest vocals from Joe Braithwaite of Lowrider and this week they have released the video for the building, swirling epic of a track.
Teaming up with Kieran Ellis-Jones of Crystal Arrow Films, Making Maps follows the trail of a man navigating his way through this world and the grand experience of life.
Much of the clip was shot at the Anstey Hill Recreation Park, the site of a decommissioned quarry and nursery, and is home to some of the best views of Adelaide you will find. Take a walk, just after sunrise and you will be hit in the face with the grandeur of the place.
For those of you unfamiliar with the location set in the video, I dare you to venture out to the end of North East Road until you reach Anstey Hill and take a walk. By far and large my favourite place in the city and have shared many a moment similar to the young man in the film clip.
