Starting early on the gig guide this week with a couple of awesome gigs before the weekend arrives.
Amongst all the good things happening, The Rocketeers will be out debuting their brand new song Phazer, Sincerely Grizzly headline an epic 5-band lineup at the Pirie St and Punk Ass Kids comes around once again for Wednesday night beers.
Wednesday 21st May
Punk Ass Kids has their second May show, bringing you ol' school rock, great local bands and sweet drinks deals. This weeks lineup will see Young Offenders take to the stage (debuting some new material for their upcoming EP) along with blues rock outfit The Pits and Filthy White Inbreds. Deeeeets
Thursday 22nd May
Grace Emily Hotel has you set just in time for the weekend. 8 Bit Love (Melb) are coming in support of their new EP Slummer Time with two of Radelaide's freshest bands. Having just released their newest track Phazer (following last years epic Manic Pixie Dream Girl), The Rocketeers will be there as well as grunge rockers Moonfaker who will also be bringing some new material in preparation for July's EP launch. Also Also this Thursday, Glass Skies are support for Melbourne's Wagons who are touring in support of their new album Acid Rain and Sugar Cane released May 16th. This one is down at the Pirie & Co. Social Club, and is definitely perfect for those of you not working Friday.
Friday 23rd May
Nowhere else needed. Pirie & Co. Social Club has what could be one of the better gig nights this year. 5 bands for the price of one entitled Midnight Mayhem. If you ever wanted a night to take in some of the finest locals, you got it. Sincerely Grizzly headlining the event, Angels of Gung-Ho, The Scarlet Ives and FIRS providing all the local supports and Melbourne's Palace of the King rounding out what will be better than an opening day of the Boxing Day Test Match.

A while back, we featured an interview with the brilliant singer/songwriter/artist hello, lover. This weekend is no better time to catch her playing at The Exeter with other vibrant and lovely Adelaide locals Sister Rose and Lily Mojito. A brilliant venue, a beautiful lineup. What else could you want?
