One of the finest products Adelaide's metal scene has ever produced, A Ghost Orchestra have crafted a fine debut album simply titled Blood, and will be releasing it en mass this coming Friday 10th March ahead of their launch party at the Crown & Anchor Saturday night.
The four piece band will be embarking on a six-date tour following the release of Blood, The Blood Album Tour, taking them across the border and up the east coast of Australia (see below).
Persistence has been the key with the guys, since their inception now 5 years ago, they've spent their time working on an exceptionally powerful live performance that has garnered not only a strong local following but also the attention of international heavyweight acts. A Ghost Orchestra has been the "go-to support of choice" for a couple of bands you may have heard of such as The Amity Affliction, In Hearts Wake and Norma Jean just to name a few.
Produced alongside engineer Julian Renzo of Legion Studio Productions, Blood sets about capturing the bands raw and intense live performance as arguably their most refined and best material to date. The upcoming tour is just a start of the great things to come for a band that has earned their stripes and is ready for the next step.
A Ghost Orchestra will be launching their this Saturday night 11th March, alongside special guests In Trenches (also performing @ Melbourne),I, Icarus and relative newcomers HAZE (formerly Relying On Luck) with doors opening at 8:30pm sharp. Expect this show to reach capacity early, so time your run to avoid disappointment. For more details follow along here.
