This is something we've been waiting for, for a long long time. Multiple venues across the east end of town with some of the best in local talent on display. And it's all free!
To celebrate Record Store Day this weekend, Saturday 18th April, and 5 years of slinging records from artists all across the world (including an excellent local section that you need to check out!), Clarity Records is throwing a festival featuring 6 stages, five of which are purely local, named A Day of Clarity, as well as being open for 24 hours this coming Saturday!
Dedicated stages featuring artists such as Slick Arnold, Ben David (the man behind The Hard Aches), Laneway Festival performers in Sparkspitter, St. Morris Sinners and a shit tonne more! All stages are free, so if you've ever wanted to check out Stabbitha & the Knifey Wifeys you should probably head down to The Exeter about 9pm Saturday May 16th.
This could well be one of the best day events to grace our city. There will be bands playing all hours of the night to suit any and all time constraints. The Exeter Beer Garden kicking things off at 5pm right up to bands closing it out at the end of the night. Check out the poster for all the details or you can head over the facebook event for more info.
